Frequently Asked Questions

Your personal chef will do all grocery shopping, on-site cooking, service and clean-up.  For our weekly in-home meal prep service, you’ll get 3-4 different meals with multiple portions of each depending on your needs.  We’ll send you a customized menu each time you book service so it’s completely customized to your preferences and dietary needs. Our clients typically get service once per week.   We also provide small scale in-home dinner parties and events from 2 to 20 guests.

We require a basic set of pots and pans for us to work with as well as a working oven and stove.  Your chef will bring his/her own knives and a few utensils.  For meal prep, a full set of containers is also required if you don’t already own a set.  For dinners and events we will use everything at the location as far as plates, silverware, etc. and we do not provide rentals. We can recommend outside rental companies to you if needed.

No, price does not include the cost groceries.

We do all grocery shopping at a store of your preference. We ask if you prefer organic, conventional or a mix of ingredients. The service is completely customized to your preferences!  

We do not track specific information but are able to provide you with quantities and portion sizes upon request. Clients can then track in a nutrition app if they’d like such as My Fitness Pal.

All of the food is made from scratch and we are consistently making new dishes for you. 

We require at least 5 days advance notice for meal prep service and 7 days advance notice for dinner parties and events. 

We need a minimum of two weeks for new meal prep clients and dinners parties/events.

We customize the menu so everyone will have a meal they enjoy. You can choose one (1) item per course. We understand some guests have dietary restrictions. There will be more effort needed to prepare an additional course.  We will provide a supplementary course for an additional fee.  

No, you do not need to be home.  We are self-sufficient.  The homeowner typically lets us in remotely or leaves a key.  At times the homeowner lets us in the home and leaves to finish their errands, etc.
